Even though we're halfway through January, I wanted to share some moments from our last weeks of Advent at school. It was such a sweet time together, and these are some of the highlights!
Parke, our 4th grade teacher, did such a beautiful job speaking to us all at our Advent chapels. Each week, she talked about the road to Bethlehem, making us wonder and marvel at the story of Christ's birth and His second coming.
One of my personal favorite days of Advent was when the whole school walked a couple blocks to sing to one of CCP's members. She doesn't get to leave her house very often, so we thought we'd spread some Christmas cheer her way. We all squeezed into her living room, and I think she enjoyed every second.
This year we changed things up a bit and decided to do "Nine Lessons and Carols" for our Christmas program. Each class practiced so hard and they all did an amazing job!
